My name is Libni Valera, I was born in Cuba but have lived most of my life in South Florida. I recently graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a bachelors in biology. In Undergrad I had the opportunity to partake in a variety of jobs, including research, teaching, dental assisting, and in administration as a receptionist. I am an active member in my local church, where I serve mentoring and guiding young adult women as a youth group leader. 

My exposure to the wide range of opportunities has ultimately led to my love for serving and helping my community. As a Patient Navigator at the community Health Center through the Promise Fund, I am responsible for guiding individuals one-on-one through screening, diagnosis, treatment and completion of care. The role being critical to saving lives and helping patients receive early diagnosis and treatment. I am truly excited to promote education for breast and cervical cancers, as well as the importance of early detection on survivorship.
